One Name, One Mission: Coming Home to The Alliance Center

For 22 years, the Alliance has been the hub at the heart of Colorado’s climate and justice ecosystem. We’ve provided the space, infrastructure, and network that mission-aligned organizations need to do impactful work every day.

We’ve had several names over the years. (We were in our teens, okay?) Most recently, you may have known our building as “The Alliance Center” and our nonprofit as “The Alliance for Collective Action.” Each had a separate website. But as we heard from folks in our community, it started feeling like wearing two different shoes to a party: it worked… but it was a bit awkward to explain.

As of July 1, 2026 we’re choosing clarity and coming home to our simplest, most “us” name: The Alliance Center.

We’ve consolidated our identity and merged our digital presence into one unified hub here at thealliancecenter.org. To be clear: we aren’t changing who we are, just how you find us. We are still the same mission-aligned workspace and 501(c)(3) nonprofit you know and love, and our mission to bring people together to strengthen Colorado’s climate and justice community remains our North Star.

The new website includes a new Community Calendar designed to help connect you to all the events happening in Colorado’s climate ecosystem. Alongside Alliance Center programming, the calendar features events from organizations and partners across the Front Range, creating a shared hub for learning, collaboration, and action. You can subscribe to the calendar via Luma, and email us with any events you’d like us to feature.

So welcome home. We’ll see you at the Alliance Center.
