Introducing Patrick Howard, The Alliance Center Building Manager
We are excited to welcome Patrick Howard, our new Building Manager!
As a 2019 graduate of CU Boulder with a focus on Operations Management and Peace & Conflict Studies, Patrick has spent the past 6 years working in a variety of operational roles on the Front Range. From a tech-startup accelerator, a regenerative farm, a food-rescue organization, a small carpentry business, and property management, Patrick enjoys building processes and systems that lift up the community around him.
Most recently, Patrick managed a building in Downtown Denver that was a mix between commercial and residential space. He is excited to join the Alliance team as Building Manager, allowing him to combine his experience in property management and operations with his desire to be a part of a meaningful mission.
Fun facts about Patrick outside of work include: being a trained Mediator and Restorative Justice Facilitator, possessing a commercial drivers license, practicing yoga daily, and taking woodworking classes in furniture building. You can find him doing any of those things as well as exploring Denver by bike, skiing, backpacking, and reading fantasy books.
AFCA: What interests you about The Alliance?
PH: I am a people person that thrives off of relationships that lead to growth and new opportunities. I see the Alliance Center’s building as a space specifically focused around fostering relationships between folks driven by environmental and human systems that improve our world.
AFCA: Why did you decide to join us?
PH: I fell in love with the world of property management in my previous job because of its unique mixture of hands-on tactical work with buildings and systems, alongside the relationship and customer service side. Joining this team is a way to add a deeper meaning to the work that I love through managing a building and community that is purpose-driven and holds values that align with my own.
Welcome, Patrick! We are thrilled that you are joining us.
